Evaluation: Question 1, part 3 (Double Page)

My double page spread is consistent with magazines in my chosen genre once more, as it has the left hand side dominated by the image, with an article title used as well. i felt this grabbed the attention of my audience and believed it worked well in other magazines from my genre. i also felt having a quote gave an authentic touch to my article, so decided to use that as my own added flair.

The right hand side is several paragraphs broken up and divided in the centre by a column, much like the majority of other magazines, including those in my genre. The right hand side ends with an impacfull quote that once again reinforces the idea that this is authentic. I however, abandoned the faded background across both pages as i felt my text would be easier to read this way, and as my questionnaire said, interesting articles are a factor in buying a magazine.

  1. I'm hoping that you are changing your double page spread and therefore you will need to re do this evaluation.

In what you have done, you haven't said why you've gone against your research. What was it that you didn't like, why did you think you knew better than professionals? You need to fully justify other than being obtuse and stating I had an idea and I wasn't prepared to change even though my research told me I should. If you are going to go against conventions then you need to have a reason for it.
