The right hand side is several paragraphs broken up and divided in the centre by a column, much like the majority of other magazines, including those in my genre. The right hand side ends with an impacfull quote that once again reinforces the idea that this is authentic. I however, abandoned the faded background across both pages as i felt my text would be easier to read this way, and as my questionnaire said, interesting articles are a factor in buying a magazine.
I'm hoping that you are changing your double page spread and therefore you will need to re do this evaluation.
ReplyDeleteIn what you have done, you haven't said why you've gone against your research. What was it that you didn't like, why did you think you knew better than professionals? You need to fully justify other than being obtuse and stating I had an idea and I wasn't prepared to change even though my research told me I should. If you are going to go against conventions then you need to have a reason for it.
